owl refunding.

i feel like i've posted this owl video everywhere already, but i'm still in love with it. on saturday this owl hung out in my backyard all day, just a few feet away from my bedroom window. i took about 50 (seriously) pictures of it and several videos, but this one is my favorite. i don't think i've ever seen an owl in real life and i have certainly never seen one chuck their pellets, so enjoy.
ps- it's less than 1.5 minutes, so you won't be here all day watching it.



in other news, my shop sales have stalled out at 666. ha.

KLAUS!

i have this idea for a klaus nomi shirt. it's a really (seemingly) obvious idea so i did a search on etsy to see if it already exists there. it doesn't, so i may have to talk one of my screen printing friends into making it happen. anyway, there are only 3 klaus nomi items on etsy...

and in try-to-get-you-to-buy-something-from-me news, i've added a ton of new stuff to the shop lately. there are several new tote bags, one from scratch and some store bought ones i appliqued.


there are also some great new skirts, jackets, a mens ribcage buttondown shirt... i've been in overdrive lately, putting new stuff in the store. i've also had a flurry of new ideas and not enough time to execute half of them. i'm freaking out at the thought of not being on etsy every day once my store opens. it's just about that time.
i have never been more excited about anything in my life. at the same time etsy has pretty much been my life for the past few years, and pretty much my only income for the past 6 months, but it won't be anymore. i wouldn't be where i am right now without etsy, so it's just strange to think about. i'll still list stuff, but not nearly as often. i think this is where i remind you to get it while you can. and where i apologize for saying "pretty much" too often.
so, that's pretty much it for now.

i can only imagine how horribly wrong this would look on my voluptuousness, but it's one of those items i like so much i think about it when i'm sitting in traffic. curse you, stray dog vintage!

someday i'll probably buy this TJ Spanky card for my mom. she's afraid of nuns so i like to torment her with nun themed cards. she takes it well.


i NEED a sneaker bag, okay?! studioxtine's looks so much sturdier than those 70's ones.

i've always wanted a hat reminiscent of the one tatum o'neal wore in paper moon. this one from liza rietz fits the bill pretty well.
